(EUSTIS, Florida—September 26, 2020) AccuScience Laboratories’ board of directors announced the appointment of Dr. Harry Behzadi, Ph.D., as President, CEO of the research company.
“Dr. Behzadi brings unprecedented knowledge in laboratory operation and management and his accomplishments are well-known and highly regarded within the industry. His drive and expertise make him ideally qualified to lead our team,” according to a statement from the AccuScience board of directors. “We are confident in Harry’s ability in advancing our efforts and vision to be recognized as an international leader in the analytical testing industry.”
Dr. Behzadi, a well-established scientist and executive in the pharmaceutical and environmental testing industry, has a proven track record leading dynamic teams in a growing network of analytical testing laboratories over his substantial career. He was also an accomplished corporate executive fostering innovation and responsible for operation, sales and navigating multiple laboratories through the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP), Department of Defense certification and accreditation process, in various Fortune 500 companies.
Dr. Behzadi most recently served as Vice President of Emerging Technologies for RJ Lee Group, where he developed Perfluorinated Alkylated Substances (PFAS) testing and litigation support. He has held executive positions at SGS‐EHS North America and TestAmerica Inc. Earlier, Dr. Behzadi served for 20 years as Vice President of Operation and Corporate Technical Director of Accustest Laboratories, where he had spearheaded a successful growth and expansion strategy in both the Southeast and West Coast regions and subsequent strategic transaction of the company. He has authored more than 30 articles and presented in various environmental and scientific forums.
Dr. Behzadi received a B.Sc. in chemistry/biology from Montclair State College and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ.
